Stéphane Bengana

Stéphane is a fragrance expert native from Clermont-Ferrand, a major city in central France, surrounded by dramatic mountains scenery. He knew from a very young age that he wanted to become a Perfumer. As a teenager, he set about achieving his goal.

After gaining a Masters Degree in Chemistry and a DESS PhD in Perfumery at ISIPCA, Stéphane began his career in Paris with Haarmann & Reimer.

From there, he moved to Grasse and joined Payan Bertrand, as trainee Perfumer, where he developed an expertise in natural ingredients to create unique French perfumes.

After 14 years in France, Stéphane was enticed to discover the Middle Eastern world of Perfumery and relocated to Dubai as Senior Perfumer at CPL Aromas.

During his nine years tenure, he was appointed as Perfumery Director for the last 3 years.

During his tenure at CPL Stéphane co-created a perfume for the most famous lady in the world, Her Majesty the Queen of England , the perfume was called Adamas (Greek for Diamond) and was created as a Christmas gift to celebrate her majesty’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

Stéphane developed extensive expertise in Arabic fragrances. As he says “I don’t know if Arabic perfumery came to me or me to it, but one thing is for sure, I’m in love with this unique perfumery”.

Stéphane has a solid experience of more than 23 years in the fragrance industry and always brings passion to his fragrance creations which also reflects his perfectionism.
